COVID-19 Health Literacy Project

When we educate people about COVID-19 in their preferred language using simple, understandable terms, they are more likely to take appropriate actions. These free, downloadable, easy-to-read handouts are available in more than 30 languages. In addition to general information about COVID-19 for adults, they also offer versions for children and teens, information about COVID-19 and pregnancy, and what to do if you test positive. The COVID-19 Health Literacy Project was started by Pooja Chandrashekar, a first-year medical student at Harvard Medical School. She has partnered with Harvard Health Publishing and a team of expert reviewers to ensure the information is accurate and up-to-date. Reach out and let us know how your mobile clinic is using these handouts or recommend other easy-to-read, multilingual materials you find helpful.
